It was a usual night in Vegas. Everyone was busy in the chaotic environment the long-lit city had to offer. All the city's shops and clubs were wide open, and everybody was having a great time. Oh, how could I have forgotten to introduce myself? I'm Alex Smith. I live a little away from the downtown in Vegas. I usually don't hang out at night. But that day, something inside me wanted to know what it's like exploring the city at night because I hadn't done it in a long time. And who wouldn't? It's Vegas, after all. It's the city that never sleeps and is always surrounded by light and joy. So, I set out to explore the city later that night.
I sat down outside a restaurant and ordered a drink. Everything was great, all fun and games until something caught my attention. Across the street, on the wall, I saw a giant poster. I noticed a familiar face on that poster as if I had always seen that face. But the problem was that I couldn't quite recognize who it was. Despite thinking hard for a long time, I still failed to identify the person and thought of giving up. I glanced at the poster for one last time and noticed something written in big yellow alphabets just below the picture. What it read left me in complete shock. The person had brutally murdered two people last night, and there was a bounty of twenty thousand dollars for the one who could catch him.
After finishing my drink, I headed back home. It still haunted me to think that a face so familiar, yet unknown, could commit such a crime. But, even after hours of thinking and trying to remember that person, I still had no luck. I never knew when I fell asleep thinking of the same.
