Meditation

It's been a while since I started practicing meditation and every time I meditate, I see the importance of it. Meditation provides me with mindfulness, and I am able to clear out my thoughts and filter out negative ones. Once I started practicing meditation regularly, I felt like I obtained a new level of consciousness and I was able to analyze my thoughts without judgement. I was able to look into my mind and visualise how many varying thoughts I had and over time I was able to control these thoughts and emotions.

While meditating, I am able to get to the root of the problem that is bothering me. Meditation also helps slow down the time as I get to be in the moment and not worry about the past or the future. Sometimes my life feels like it is moving a million miles an hour but meditation helps me step back and control my thoughts.

Scientifically, meditation has shown to reduce our cortisol level[1] which helps relieve stress and it lengthens our telomeres[2] which slows down aging. Meditation is also the key to manifestation as we are able to control anything in our mind and body. Hence, it is really good to include meditation in our daily routine as it has several benefits.
